Prof.Dr.Cengiz Bahadır

Prof.Dr. Cengiz Bahadırwas born in 1969, Samsun. Graduated from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1992, he started his residency at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Following residency, he completed his master’s degree on electro diagnostic neurology (EMG) at Marmara University, Neurological Sciences Institute in 1997-2000. He worked at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital in 1997-2009. He worked at Erenköy Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital in 2009-2011 and granted with the title of associate professor in 2010, professor in 2015. His main areas of specialty can be listed as: Radiculopathy (pain secondary to spinal and cervical disc herniation), non-operative treatment of spinal and cervical disc herniations, EMG (electro physiological examination for the diagnosis of muscular and nerve diseases), transcranial magnetic stimulation, musculoskeletal ultrasonography, arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis) and muscle pain, joint-soft tissue injections. He authored more than 40 articles and sections published in international and national journals and he delivered many presentations including in international congresses. He participated at many trainings on EMG (clinical neurophysiology), rheumatology and musculoskeletal ultrasonography and also lectured in national and international trainings on EMG. Prof. Dr. Cengiz Bahadır also the representative of Turkish Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Kadıköy branch, continues his clinical practice at Medipoint Medical Center.
